Has anyone had the misfortune of contracting the Adeno virus?
And if so how did you get rid of it?

From what I understand E-Coli medication combined with an Immune stimulant works well.

On the other hand plenty of Pro-biotics and rest seems to do the trick as well.

In south Texas Adeino virus is here to stay. It has crippled our YB seasons and if your not careful its hard to evaluate breeders, since you loose birds that you shouldn't.  Like most disease in our racing pigeons it usually shows up when the birds are stressed by crating/training or after the initial 100 mile race. Knowing when to expect it is half the battle. Once I start training I make it a point to get to the loft early while its still dark. Any bird that has food on its perch is moved out of the YB loft to a quarantine pen where I use Adeino-Zap from break thru products. In most cases within a week/10 days they are back in the YB loft  and going to the races. So far I've not lost a bird.
